It’s what happens between now and November that will determine how the elections go.
The bloodbath will happen if Republicans don’t start passing bills that support their supposed platform. But certain individuals are more interested in getting rid of Trump than keeping promises. Think McCain, Mcconell, Rubio and maybe Ryan.
I hate these kind of “The Repubs are still in the driver seat” stories because our side gets lethargic enough when the news ain’t so rosy....

Obama was criticized for being able to win elections but having no coattails. I am afraid that Trump may suffer the same thing. He is one of a kind and no other politician has the stones to talk tough and fight back against the MSM.
Its not going to be a bloodbath... but after watching the GOP completely botch PA-18 first hand, I can tell you this... if the messaging used by the national GOP is the plan for the fall, they WILL lose the house, period. Its not even up for discussion or debate.
That campaign was completely messaged as if 2016 NEVER HAPPENED... the National and Pac ads were all the exact same tired GOP ads they have ran for 15 years or more... nothing that was ever going to reach the non traditional MAGA voter and give them a reason to care about the election let alone a reason to show up and vote.
Dems are motivated, they are going to show up, they are going to crawl over glass to vote ... If the GOP thinks messaging that never got those non traditional MAGA/TRUMP voters to show up is suddenly going to get them to show up, they are fools.
They will indeed lose more than 23 districts, its not even in doubt.
They will pick up several Senate seats, but if they don’t wake up to what happened in 2016, get their heads out of their collective arses and start engaging the non traditional TRUMP/MAGA voter, they will lose the house
It won’t be a 2010 or 1994 wave for Dems. but certainly more than enough to lose the house.
