Great Mills High School in Maryland was on lockdown after a shooting on Tuesday morning, school officials confirmed.
The incident was contained and the St. Mary's Sheriff's Office was on the scene, the school said on its website. Maryland State Police also told Fox News they were responding to the incident.

Why are you not condemning all the people who are using the massacre of 17 high school students to push their gun control agenda?
I see you are still defending the indefensible.
Public schools are nothing more than liberal indoctrination centers which have long ago outlived their usefulness. They need to be abolished.
Live with it.
Also, you have resorted to personal attacks which shows the absolute poverty of any criticism you have against homeschooling.
Who said I am not, are you on every single forum that I am on? Nice try at the straw man argument
I see you are still defending the indefensible.
Please quote me defending public schooling, show my defense of it in this specific situation. If you can't then you will need to either retract your comment or admit your error. That is what a real Christian would do. I am not holding my breath

Public education was demanded by the founding fathers and is part of the fabric of society. There are flaws in the system that must be remedied, but not when people resort to the cowardly act of running away. As has been said before if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. As a mater of fact when home schoolers harangue decent public educators they ARE the problem. The constant attacks that people with your prejudice will not persuade anyone. Also didn't Jesus COMMAND us to LOVE one another, are the attacks on public educators truly loving? BTW this was a continuation of your straw man argument
Live with it.
Great defense of of an untenable action.
Also, you have resorted to personal attacks which shows the absolute poverty of any criticism you have against homeschooling.
Actually I haven't. This is an example of a red herring fallacy. A personal attack would be if for instance I said that you smelt of elderberries. I observed that you were displaying certain tendencies.
Let me ask you a question. Since you have engaged in personal attacks against other Christian groups and against public educators does this show the absolute poverty of any criticism you have against homeschooling other Christians and public educators.
Please remember that I was homeschooled for 12 years and I am more than competent to point out and comment on the short comings of that system.
BTW I am certain that you will be thrilled to learn that I will be baptized this Easter as a Christian. No thanks to various members of this forum, but with much thanks to some others, not including yourself. I am looking forward to more spirited dialog with you on various theological matters.

Only for your own situation.
If you have issues with your homeschooling experience, take it up with your parents because there is no system as a whole to blame for whatever your experience is that you resent so much.
BTW I am certain that you will be thrilled to learn that I will be baptized this Easter as a Christian.
I don't care what you call yourself.
Then this applies equally to you . You had your experiences with public education, and others have had very good experiences with it. And since there is only 3.4% of the population involved in Homeschooling (https://hslda.org/docs/news/2013/201309030.asp) you are vastly outnumbered. Since you raised the issue of parents did you take it up with yours?
I don't care what you call yourself.
I am overwhelmed by your display of Christian charity.... NOT.
