I did not ask the government to provide the services - for women who might otherwise go to an abortion clinic.
Conservatives with respect for the right to life, acting through their churches, private associations and not-for-profit organizations SHOULD provide them, and not simply “advocacy” centers that only hand out information. It’s like I see far and away far more “advocates” of adoption-instead-of-abortion than I do Conservative-centered organizations providing adoption services.
How come EVERY really Conservative Christian church does not have it’s own adoption program, putting what it believes to work, instead of just nodding in agreement that even adoption is better than abortion, but not putting its work where its mouth is???
“Advocating” for the right to life and for adoption are not enough. Conservatives need to make our “assistance” in the form of services equal to our advocacy - they aren’t.
Are there Conservatives doing what I suggest?? Yes. But they are far too fewer than those willing to do no more than “advocate”.
