A device exploded early Tuesday at a FedEx ground distribution center in Schertz, Texas, police said. Schertz police Lt. Manny Casas said the medium-sized box was on the conveyer belt when it exploded. One person was treated for a sound injury. It is unclear if the explosion was related to the Austin serial bomber case. Schertz is 22 miles east of and 73 miles south of Austin.
I wonder if the FBI can afford to take some of its precious time trying to destroy President Trump and actually involve itself in something so mundane as finding a serial bomber. I know its asking a lot. Theyre much better at preserving the Deep State than actually solving crimes.
Casas asserted that it was too early to connect the explosion to the four explosions that have plagued Austin the last few weeks. He said the main concern was to make sure everyone is OK.
No rush to judgment as to whether this explosion is related to “serial bomber” or not.
There can be many explanations for a package to explode — this probably would not be “Breaking News” were it not for the other “Booms” in/around Austin Texas -—
FBI/ATF etc. Should be committing resources to confirm if there is or is not a connection
Nails and an explosion. Could be some shipped propellant and nails for a nail gun improperly.
Package addressed to Austin:
Yup. Safe to assume intentonsl until proven otherwise under the current state of alert.
But yes, could very well be an accident
Joe Boomer is on a roll.
Well -— the odds of it being an accident and not connected are certainly diminished if that is in fact true.
Well, I’m not a professional investigator or anything, but I’d say they’ll probably be looking closely at the sender and addressee of this package for the Austin bombings. That’s my guess, anyways.
The implication is that the bombs in Austin were being sent in from somewhere else, which means that’s a terrorist plot. The plotters are likely on the way to being identified quickly.
That is, unless John Brennan is involved (wait, did I just say that out loud).
Pretty big coincidence if it’s only that considering the timing and location. Probably need to get Congress moving on some IED control/safety laws.
Realistically, if this guy branches out from Texas, he could rack up a body count over time that would make mass shooters blush and may never even get caught.
Many of us have been thinking it..
Many of us have been thinking it..
Schertz is just north of San Antonio and on Interstate 35, so it is an easy hop to Austin.
This guy keeps shifting the MO
Watcha bet the person of interest is "on their radar"?
If this guy just sticks to tripwire bombs, he may never get caught. Look how long it took law enforcement to find the beltway sniper, and he and his accomplice were always at the scene of the crime. The only hope is tracking down bomb material purchases, but they could be made with household items for all I know - hopefully not.
Nobody under 21 can ship a package. No large capacity boxes. A seven day waiting period before shipping a package.
Supposedly headed for Austin
