Exactly. Putin wants to get the Russian economy going and also wants to be friends with the US, as well as fights against the Muslim terrorists.
It’s good that he won reelection with such a wide margin.
Even from a demographic point of view Russia is in terrible shape. Its men live to 55 on average suffering from chronic alcohol abuse. And its birth rate is anemic.
