Putin is expected to easily win the first round Sunday with 70% of the vote. Key thing to watch for is the turnout.
With an election with no real suspense, if it falls below the Kremlin-set target of 70%, its likely to tarnish Putin's win.
With the Russian President having an 680% personal approval rating, no wonder the result is an all but foregone conclusion.
My Russian friends (age 18-29) are boycotting....or support Putin but wont show up at polls.
Russia will be on tenterhooks awaiting results!

would be nice to put HilLIARy’s name on their ballot, just for fun

I would assume Trump is there campaigning for him just like Putin came here and forced people to vote for Trump, right????
None of the other candidates inspire much enthusiasm,
How you can beat a guy with an 80% personal approval rating?
Not much. People like Putin but don’t think much of the government.
To the extent he benefits, its a vote for him and not for the widely despised establishment.
Watch that the press will deride Putin’s high winning percentage.
But won’t compare it to California’s one party state.
ha! maybe, but I rather think Putin knows how to “turn out his vote” without needing very much help from abroad
Putin is Russia’s DeGaulle. I think any one who succeeds him won’t be the same.
He is an oak tree but all his potential successors are acorns.
I have posted elsewhere my thoughts on the Putin regime. Lived in Russia 2015-2017. I pray to God for the the implosion of Putin state everyday. And will light a candle at Orthodox church later for Russia’s transition to a truly free society.
So much darkness right now...
vote for her.
If Putin wins, will he be accused of colluding with Donald Trump?
Pfft, 680% approval. That is nothing. I hear Obama had a 1,680% approval rating, top THAT!
What? The campaign is already over? And Americans didn’t even get to launch any bots to interfere on twitter?
Saddam won an election with 100% of the vote.
The cities like those in Europe are mainly liberal.
Its the countryside and small towns are conservative.
We know from where Putin will draw the largest support...
It ended Friday.
Under Russian law, Saturday was a day of silence for candidates and parties.
I just voted for her in Moscow .... from the suburbs of Chicago.
Gawd Almighty! I sure hope you lose!!!!!!
