I went to an HS football game this past fall and, as the color guard performed with these things, I said to my friend: “I wonder how long it will be before the fake guns are outlawed?”

It won't be long before school boards start deciding that using these rifle-shaped props "sends an inappropriate message," and they will be banned in favor of some other type of baton.
