Theres nothing wrong with Chinese steel overall. Sure, aside from the radioactive metal contamination, it's just fine.

Sure, aside from the radioactive metal contamination, it's just fine. I'm not arguing for Chinese steel to be allowed into the USA. I'm saying that the slogan "chinese steel" is a cheap cop-out which deflects the truth of the matter - 100% responsibility due to corrupt, stupid planners and government people right here in the good old USA

As a welder for over 50 years I can definitely say there is a difference in American and import steel [mainly Chinese] Korean steel is pretty good as is Brazilian.
