Newt Gingrich: Trump, Republicans must wake up or Pelosi and Democrats will soon control the House
foxnews ^

Posted on 03/16/2018 7:56:41 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

It is time for Republicans nationwide to wake up to the very real threat of a Democratic-controlled House of Representatives led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, the current House minority leader.

This wake-up call is also for President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. Neither they, nor any other Republican, should underestimate how disastrous it would be for their policies and for the country to have a left-wing Democratic majority in the House.

Under Speaker Pelosi, there would be two years of investigations, fights over spending (to reduce defense and increase liberal dependency programs), efforts to undo President Trump’s deregulation achievements, and attempts to make new bureaucracies.

Even though the special election for Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District remains too close to call, the results are simply the latest in a series of special elections in which the Republicans have run well behind the 2016 presidential election results.

If the decline this fall is comparable to the drop in Pennsylvania, there will be a Democratic landslide.

All the republicans have to do is support trump at pretty much every turn, regarding what he’s trying to do. It even aligns with the republican platform.

Democrats will pull in all the turnout they can to ensure victory. People need to realize this.

Electing Bush League Republicans just because they wear an R jersey is as bad as electing Democrats.
We need to elect people who side with the citizens and the rule of law.

The truth of the matter is that the GOPE seems quite willing to turn the government over to the RATS if in so doing, they are able to get rid of Trump and return things to “normal.” The sad part of it, is that it appears likely that the people of this country don’t care enough about their future to tell the GOPE to GFT!

Not going to happen. Trump supporters don’t like the Republican leadership. Yes they are going to cut their own throats but that’s reality. Remember the last year of all of them attacking Trump? They want Hillary, Obama, Oprah. It’s all about money and illegal immigration.

> Democrats will pull in all the turnout they can to ensure victory. <

To which I’ll add: One reason Hillary lost in 2016 is that the Democrats were over-confident. Hillary was so far ahead in the polls that there was no need to stuff the ballot box.

The Democrats won’t make that mistake again.

I still contend that the GOP destroyed it’s credibility when it couldn’t even pass a half-assed “repeal” of ObamaCare after running campaigns on that very thing for SEVEN ‘EFFING YEARS.

POTUS, Trump see the danger is is moving quickly to get his executive team in line with his thinking and goals. As for, Paul Ryan, MiTch McConnell and Ronna Romney McDaniel (The RNC).....they have nary a clue. Both Alabama and Pennsylvania proved that.

How McDaniel could have stood by and allowed Rick Scannone to become the GOP candidate in PA-18th-CD, one will never know. But, worse then Ronna, is that most useless Paul Ryan. As speaker of the House he should have been right on top of this misplace from the start. Broom him, Pubbies or die politically...he hates Trump and so does McConnell!!! Wake up!!!

"All the republicans have to do is support trump at pretty much every turn, regarding what he’s trying to do. It even aligns with the republican platform."And...

*A unified message.
* aka Pat Caddell's the Dems care more about Illegals that your kids for starters.
* Relentless campaigning and adopt all of PDJT's winning behaviors that won for him in 16'
* That includes Brad Pascale's data mining micro targeting of voters.
* The RNC needs to get all aboard this or Ms Romney needs to go, In Fact Newt Gingrich is the only one with the BALLS to lead this fakata carnival of clowns running in all directions to get in line and have a winning strategy and template for 18' He need to be the head of the RNC ASAP.
* The candidates must follow the template or find someone else to run.

After seeing Ryan's PAC funded Lamb in PA via his Pro-Gun Stance, if we we win in 18' it is time for Ryan and Mitch to go, I don't trust them as far as I can throw them, Uni-Party K-Street Weasels, after that move I have had enough...

...there would be two years of investigations...

And this would be different from the last year how? We've had continuous investigations from a Republican congress and an oh-so-special counsel appointed under a supposedly Republican-controlled DOJ. I think the only difference would be that the House would move to impeach on zero grounds other than Trump is a Republican/populist outsider.

UniParty At Work – Paul Ryan SuperPac Campaigned to Elect Democrat Conor Lamb…

Posted on  by

It’s well known that Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan doesn’t want to be in an actual leadership position; and it’s also well known -enhanced by the campaign, and victory, of Donald Trump- that Republicans did not want to win the majority position and face having to reveal their true UniParty agenda.

The evidence of this UniParty positioning has been staring the electorate in the face, repeatedly and brutally, since candidate Donald Trump actually campaigned on key tenets of the Republican party and found himself being openly opposed by GOP leadership.

Now, a stunning discovery surfaces of Paul Ryan’s Congressional Leadership SuperPAC, congressionalleadershipfund.org, actually campaigning for the Democrat, Conor Lamb, in the recent PA18 congressional race.

As evidenced by Big League Politics the Paul Ryan SuperPAC sent a mailer to Pennsylvania CD-18 voters touting Lamb’s favorable position on gun ownership rights:

(link to source)

Now, there will be some who think this is just a bone-headed move by Paul Ryan because the Democrats already held a +50,000 registration advantage in the district and the SuperPAC didn’t know this mailer would actually end up supporting Lamb.  However, as mentioned, there’s a history here that tells us “a mistake” is likely not the case.

The real motive, based on an honest review of history, is the professional UniParty apparatus knew that Democrat Conor Lamb needed a lift to offset the cross party voting that was reflected in the district voting (by over 20 points) for Donald Trump in 2016.

The DC Republican apparatus is quite comfortable losing their majority position so long as they are not forced to support Trump policies which are entirely against their financial interests.  [How Mitch McConnell Crushed The Tea-Party]

Even before candidate Trump entered the 2016 presidential race, the agenda was visible for anyone who was willing to admit it.  In 2014 the same Republican leadership paid Democrats to vote against the Republican primary winner of the Mississippi Senate race (Cochran -vs- McDaniel) simply because Mitch McConnell didn’t like the idea of having an actual Republican in the seat.

Remember, this is the GOP wing of the UniParty who operate on behalf of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce {DEEP DIVE} and support: comprehensive immigration reform to include amnesty; lax border security to allow cheap labor; Omnibus spending as reflected in their Obama budget-fulfillment votes; the retention of ObamaCare as mandated by the U.S. CoC; the expansion of federal common core education standards; the Wall Street trade agenda to include TPP.  All of these “DC-Republican” positions are opposed by the current Republican President and the majority of Republican voters.

Enhancing and emphasizing my argument that this mailer as a deliberate effort to elect a Democrat, I would remind everyone of a few brutally obvious points:

♦the Republican controlled senate voted unanimously to block any Trump recess appointments (summer 2017);

♦and also the reality that both the House and Senate had no legislative constructs prepared for a Trump victory in January/February 2017;

♦and top off the cake of duplicity with the fact it was Republican controlled House and Senate committees who willingly opened ridiculous investigations against their own elected president claiming a ‘Vast Planetary Russian Collusion Conspiracy’.

In short, both Republicans and Democrats want the threat of Donald Trump removed.

There is no desire on the part of Paul Ryan/Kevin McCarthy or Mitch McConnell/John Cornyn to actually win seats in 2018.  These GOP “leaders” would just as soon lose their majority position so they can go back to the comfortable indulgences of remaining in leadership in the minority status.

In the minority the leadership of the GOP are no longer threatened by President Trump and can hide behind the smokescreen of loyal opposition.

Substantively nothing changes, and the GOP leaders are just as well compensated in the minority by the lobbyist industry within DC.

The only threat to the financial interests of the GOP is President Donald Trump remaining in office and having to actually face carrying out a conservative Trump agenda in 2019 and 2020.  That Trump agenda is entirely against their “establishment republican” interests.

The Paul Ryan mailer to elect a Democrat is just another example of how corrupt the entire UniParty political apparatus is within Washington DC.

That truism is entirely why this MAGA graphic, from 2015, remains accurate:

.

Koch, Ryan, Koch, McConnell, Murdoch

Part I

Part II

I don’t understand why people continue to view PA-18 as some kind of repudiation of Trump. For God’s sake, Lamb ran as a Pro Life, Pro Gun and Pro American worker candidate, if anything Trump is forcing the Dems to run to the right, not away from him. I’ll be honest, if the choice is a Pro Gun, Pro Life and Pro American worker candidate with a D after his name and a milquetoast Chamber of Commerce anti gun Republican (McCain, Flake, McConnell) what benefit is there pulling the R lever?
