I’ve been all over Facebook arguing and attempting to discuss the issues and they have nothing but cheap emotionalism to argue with. They simply want the Government to DO SOMETHING! ANYTHING! to make them feel safe.
They have no concept of Unintended Consequences of such actions.

We avoid enemy territory like Facebook and engage these SJWs (Social Justice Wimps) on the street and in bars. They really wimp out and cry for their mommies when confronted.
Now, that may not be your cup of tea but at least consider it.
We engaged a pack of 50 IQ affirmative action wimps at one of our Tea party meetings. We chased them off the public square, and they ducked into a building and locked the door. They bawled like babies for the cops to come rescue them. The cops, laughing their butts off, escorted the wimps to their cars.
I think I have not one “old” friend who was a “feelie” person left. It is a shame but I cannot tolerate that kind of fuzzy lazy inconsiderate (can’t consider anything beyond the last tear) thinking when it comes to important issues.
Likewise on Twitter. Trying to have sensible debates with those who start out promising, but they fast turn to crass insults and won’t take a stand on anything. Like they think legislators can just snap fingers and guns will disappear completely, and think you’re a deranged simpleton for not agreeing.
Hence wars. They’ll force the issue with violence, and be surprised when their targets fight back. Debate will be impossible (practically is now), one side or other will simply win thru attention or subjugation.
