Navarro and Cohn couldn’t work together. I’m not sure Navarro and Kudlow can. The differences in the views of the two men on tariffs are insurmountable.
But Trump’s position on tariffs is right between Kudlow and Navarro: He wants to use the threat of Navarro’s approach to get more fair trade deals.
And Larry can understand and live with that.
