Shareholders shouldn’t worry too much. Dick’s is just going through a refocusing to better reflect current trends in urban adventurism. I’ve read that they plan to remodel the section once reserved for firearms.
The new look for Dick’s will be cutting edge dildos and buttplugs, made with the highest quality silicon, guaranteed to hold up during all those wild trips to the outback!

A reminder to Freepers that REI also decided to get political over firearms, even though they don’t sell firearms.
Since they were going so much out of their way to inject themselves into the controversy, I regretted that I’d bought two pairs of hiking boots from them this past year, until I remembered their 365 day return policy. So those were returned for a full refund, and the next day I ordered exact replacements online. :)
If lots of people did that, it would really make a point!
