Personnel management via Twitter is not good. Tillerson should have announced his own departure. Maybe this is an amicable separation; time will tell ... but graceless dismissals of high ranking members of the team have considerable blowback potential.

POTUS gave him a chance. Now we know what the “Tillerson is sick” news was about last week. If anybody is being “graceless” here it is Tillerson.

Ridiculous. You are feeding the media narrative that turnover = WH in chaos. We need to get rid of the notion that cabinet members should be lifetime appointments (lifetime of the Administration). Tillerson did his stint and he’s moving on. Nothing wrong with changing things up and bringing new blood in. That what successful CEO’s do. They are not afraid to shake things up and make adjustments.

According to the Washington Compost, Tillerson was informed of the um... personnel change on Friday. That might explain his being “suddenly struck with all illness” during his African tour.
I will trust the President to know what he is doing to get enemies out of the admin, but I have to realize that the appearance is that Trump cannot hire a strong team. Was he fooled, or did he think he could win antagonists over?
