Pissing them off probably doesn’t convert them.

Bump stocks were banned during the W administration but O’s administration decided to make them legal. As to why they became legal, I suspect they did so to foster violence and anarchy which would lead to the destruction of the 2A.

Bill Atkins patented a stock called the Atkins Accelerator that included a spring in the stock to push the barrel and receiver forward after each shot against the shooter's finger. At first the ATF approved the device, then the ATF ruled that because of the active spring, it was a machine gun part, and declared it illegal. Bill Atkins challenged the ATF ruling in federal court and lost.

Slide Fire Solutions came up with a stock that had no spring, and instead required the shooter to exert constant forward pressure on the forearm to provide the "spring" power. The ATF ruled that this device, because it had no mechanical parts applying force to the receiver, was legal. Atkins sold his patent to Fostech and they sued Slide Fire Solutions over patent infringement of the trigger finger bridge, but the two settled out of court, and both make slide fire stocks with no springs.

The original Atkins Accelerator remains illegal today.

That was the intent of Fast and Furious: more violence and anarchy leading to a change in how people regarded the 2A.

Absolutely correct. The intent of Fast and Furious was to 'prove' that so-called assault weapons were used in crime, and needed to be permanently banned.

Thanks. That is a good reason to be mad at him but not a good reason to say they won’t vote for him in 2020. I thought that was a little carried away

You don’t have to convince me. I love him to death. I met him in as much as I said hello LOL. He shook my hand and was very courteous and nice. He has been a fantastic president so far

...convert Liberals by the way. Take them to the firing range, and let them shoot.

You won't convert liberals out of their commie ideals by teaching them to shoot. You'll only arm communists.

I noticed they [trolls] are all over the Qanon threads too.

Yeah, those heretics ought to be burned at the stake for their blasphemy.

It works if you have a rational person that may be brainwashed.

Granted it does not work with the the commies.

I love it how Q posts get some Trolls panties in a wad.

I find it disturbing that some Q followers are accusing longtime Freepers of being 'trolls', simply because they dare to voice their skepticism on Q threads.

The treatment of critics on those threads is just shameful. The level of rancor and verbal violence hurled at unbelievers is akin to religious zealotry, and is something I never thought I'd see on this forum.

I've just about concluded that Q is a deep state op, designed to divide and conquer the conservative community, because that's exactly what's occurring.

I agree with that, as I'm aware that some brain washed liberals eventually wake up and escape the mind control plantation.

Sadly, too many of them are mired for life in that mindset. How would you know that you're not teaching one of them to shoot? I don't know that there's any way to be certain.

...Yes we can do that, and it’s already being used and sold...

Can you name any examples?

Go ahead and give me three examples of service pistols with biometric identifiers actually in use as standard issue weapons by any law enforcement agency or military unit in the US.

As best I remember there was a .22 "smart gun" which had very limited success. It was a novelty, not a service weapon. Expensive and unreliable, in a caliber way to small for a duty gun.

Magnetic rings, watches, etc. do not count. They identify the wearer as armed.

T don't know if it converts them...but the ones I know instantly take the opposite side of any conservative argument I make .....the liberals I know have no core beliefs other then going against any conservative view point....

I'm really starting to believe liberalism IS a mental disorder...

When I was in school we never talked to them.

When I was in school everyone knew the custodian. Different time for sure.

WELCOME BACK, TEACHER`S GUN!

Welcome back, Teacher`s Gun, your gun-control critics were your ticket out
Welcome back, to that same old place that you guarded about
Well the names have all changed since you hung around on the wall,
But those critics have remained and they’ve turned around again
Who’d have thought they’d lead ya
(Who’d have thought they’d lead ya)
Back here where we need ya, Teacher`s Gun
(Back here where we need ya, Teacher`s Gun)
Yeah we need you a lot ‘cause we got Trump on the spot
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back, welcome back
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back
We always could spot a friend, welcome back
And I smile when I think how you must have been
And I know what a scene you were guarding in
Was there something that made you come back again
And what could ever lead ya
(What could ever lead ya)
Back here where we need ya, Teacher`s Gun.

SCHOOLS ARE GUN ZONES
In 1800: “
“Children of the present day would be somewhat startled to go to school attended by large dogs, to keep off the bears and other wild animals,
to study all day by the crackle of the great fire and back logs, to hear the howling of wolves at rollcall, and see the teacher take from its
resting place over the door, a trusty rifle to guard the way home. Such were the first schools in 1800.”
