Student feedback tells me my Religious Studies classes are safe spaces. Yet I keep myself safe by operating only out of my intellect, employing analysis and critique in the third person.

Your classes are a safe space for anyone who agrees with you don’t you mean professor.

For anyone who is willing to challenge your view of reality it is not so safe is it.

And your need to operate in the third person in order to navigate the real world is to me symptomatic of a fragile and unhealthy mind. Certainly you are not someone that should be teaching.

I also find it inappropriate that someone so antithetic to religion should be teaching religious studies.

Everyone has the right to have whatever self image they want.

What this professor is asserting, is that HER group should have the power to compel people to agree with the world view of selected “protected classes”.
