He was killed so they could claim the Russians hacked the DNC server when they supposedly would not let the FBI even check their server. I doubt the FBI was very persistent.
To me it’s obvious who killed Rich. An FBI agent says his gun was stolen. Could that simply be a cover story for disposing of the murder weapon?

Forgive me for saying this but I certainly hope the FBI doesn’t have anyone working for them who’s stupid enough to use their service weapon for a hit.
