No. Fed law restricts handgun purchases to 21 yo and older. This mistake make it illegal in Florida (only) to buy a long gun unless you’re 21. It also forces a 3 day waiting period for ALL firearms purchases (unless you have a CWP, are active military, and maybe a couple of other exemptions). Allows select school personnel with CWP to carry on campus. And you have to be very careful about buying any firearm for anyone not 21. I’m sure the pricks will find some way to invoke the straw purchase clause even if its for your son or daughter.
This has to be taken to the USSC. I personally think it may be unconstitutional to restrict sales to anyone not 21.
At any rate, most people north of the I-4 corridor will never support Scott for anything again. Everyone south of the I-4 corridor are already lost to common sense. (See Broward County, et al.)
