The confirmation process will be a political campaign for the Democrats. We might as well nominate Cruz. Who better to explain our side. While I'm not too keen on Ted Cruz his nomination to the SC would be a logical and winnable one IMO. I'd say go for it. I'd hope that he'd be a bit more conservative supporting than Kennedy is.
