Good evening, radu...were you warm and dry today? Did your already blooming flowers make it? Is the cold over? More rain?

We are supposed to have a little snow...we will see.

We wish it had been warm and dry. It was dry for the most part but we did get a dusting of snow during the wee hours.
It’s been in the upper 30s the past two days but should hit mid 50s tomorrow. The flowers have held up so far but we have one more freezing night to get through. *sigh*

More snow on the way, huh? Where was all the snow in the earlier part of winter? LOL

WOOHOO! You were paying attention tonight.

I was distracted by Obey getting buzzed by an owl at DH. LOL

How was your day today?

Don’t let Obey hear you thank him. He was NOT happy about the rude awakening. LOL

The day was pretty good, I reckon. The vet said Sasha’s gut bacteria are in good shape again and that’s what I wanted to hear.
Just too cold and blustery to want to walk out the door. It’s already down into the 20s so it’s going to be a bitter night.

Do we have a hatching in progress at Sauces? I keep hearing teeny tiny peeps and Mom reacts to them.

I won’t tell him. LOL! I did run the video back to see his “rude awakening”. :) That owl has a weird whoot.

I’m relieved that Sasha is better. Know you were worried about her. Maybe she’ll stay that way!

I noticed that she was listening to something this afternoon, but didn’t see a pip. They say the first egg isn’t due to hatch till around the 14th, but I’ll bet she hears the baby beginning it’s journey. All I heard were frogs. A sound I like. It makes me sleepy. Maybe I should keep that nest up when I’m trying to go to sleep and can’t.

That owl sounds a little like Ms. Bo. She makes a lot of other funny little sounds I enjoy listening to. I wonder if the one at DH does when it isn’t harassing Obey. :-)

You have to turn the speakers up to hear the peeps. You can hear them well when she got up at 6:00. It might have been a bird in the distance but the way Mom reacted to the sounds, thought it might be peeps through a pip. The grass is piled to high to see the eggs, durn it.

I had the speakers way up and thought I could hear scratching sounds too. No telling what that was. I didn’t know when the eggs were laid so had no clue when hatching was expected.

Kind of does sound like Mrs. Bo, huh!

Oh....I went to the Sauces website and they’re saying that the pip-watch starts on March 10th. Saturday. I went back to when it was daylight and heard the peeps, too. Thos froggies are LOUD! :)

Hope your flowers make it thru one more night.

It has been spitting here all day. Turned the deck all white...maybe a half inch.

Well, it’s supposed to be wet this weekend so keeping a close eye on the nest will be something to do. Might get some sparkling cider to have on hand to celebrate with when with first egg hatches. LOL! This one that will be worthy of celebration.

The frogs sure ARE loud. Sounds like here when the weather warms up.

Things are going ok....my sis texted. “Can I come visit for 10 days after Easter?”

So cool...we should be able to gets lots of stuff organized and get lots of stuff gone. Step one leading eventually to moving...probably a condo. I don’t use 2/3 of the house, and adding the utilities in my name is more than I want to handle. And the #1 reason...someone to take care of all the maintenance!

I would be perfectly happy in a large studio, but will most likely look for a 2 bedroom, one for guests, and it MUST have a garage. Months down the road, but we have to start somewhere.
