WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters that South Korea would be making a “major announcement” on North Korea at 7 p.m. (0000 GMT) on Thursday.

Kim is not stupid enough to start a war he would lose. So he is looking for a deal he can live with.

Based upon two meetings, the fact that Kim knows he has lost his missile leverage, at least as long as Trump is in office, the fact that twice the UN has gotten together to vote on enforcing sanctions, the fact that those sanctions have been in force for months now, that there was an explosion at their nuclear testing site, that malnutrition seems to be widespread in NK, that they jointly participated in the Olympics.

LOL! My prediction is it'll be much ado about nothing. Negotiations will begin, blah, blah, blah. North is open to halting nuke tests while talking, blah, blah, blah. Sanctions and military maneuvers should be suspended while talking, blah, blah, blah. We'll see which one of us is right.
