This is exactly like the Lame Plame circus that W let drag on. There was nothing illegal about putting her name in the paper. That was easy to figure out. No law protected her desk clerk status.
But W let it go on for a few years while good people got sucked into it. It didn’t matter if anyone got busted. The whole idea was to put a ton of negative information on the news everyday.
