CA wants to leave?

Well, bye - that means 55 Democrat EV go poof! as well as a third of the Democrat House delegation and 2 Democrat senators.

We don’t need a liberal sh*thole dragging America down along with it.

Huge national security problem with California secession.

Let’s assume California votes to secede. A nascent nation as California would be will in need of protection from outside powers like the USA. There is no guarantee the California National Guard will remain loyal to just California, it will likely fragment. California will need protection, its not going to get it from Mexico. California leftists will turn to China. China is already heavily invested in California, they will move in a heartbeat(Does anyone on this site really believe that California leftists won’t invite them in?) Now you have an aggressive China at the Rockies instead of on the other side of the Pacific. We will then likely lose Hawaii & Guam. (The Hawaii independence movement would be greatly strengthened!) Our position as a Pacific power will be severely compromised. All the Pacific rim nations will now be looking to make accommodations with China. There will be enormous pressure on Australia and New Zealand we would compromise the security of two of the Anglosphere powers.

California secession feels go to say it, but its a dangerous idea for the rest of us. Best thing to do is if they try. Is to go in crush it and break California up into two or three states after a lengthy reconstruction period. (See how liberals like Reconstruction!)
