Really - it isn’t rape, just old-fashioned prostitution. Some of these “brave women” coming forward now, after earning their millions, subjected countless later victims to sexual assaults by not coming forward when it mattered.

"Really - it isn’t rape, just old-fashioned prostitution."

Could be extortion, in which case it's also rape. Yes, it can be argued the women had the option of working elsewhere, I suppose; however, if somebody told you that, "You'll never work in this industry or this state again unless you....", you would probably consider it extortion. It would be interesting to see the arguments from both sides in that regard.

“just old-fashioned prostitution”

That will be a major part of his defense but it appears that some of his actions went beyond old-fashioned prostitution.

The “abuses” made by women accusers need to be scrutinized for signs that they were old-fashioned prostitution.

I don't think I could possibly agree with you more .......

They prostituted themselves to advance their careers and make millions and NOW they complain?

Ok, if that's the case they should donate every single dollar they made to rape centers and stop making films and living the high life. Otherwise they're still nothing more than over-priced hookers.

That’s really the point. The women don’t believe they’re part of the problem. There’s those that will engage and others that won’t - for those that won’t it is workplace sexual harassment, one perpetuated by other women.

If none of the women indulged in this practice then the men wouldn’t try, at minimum it would be reduced and not part of the business culture.

Many of the “#MeToo” standups only consider themselves a victim, not part of the problem. They’re all part of the same cesspit, the pathetic virtue signalling makes me want to vomit. Yes, there are some true victims, those forcibly raped or had to lose work due to not conforming. I’d bet many of those claiming to be victims are only victim to a culture they encouraged - that others will have to endure.

Yes but it is the legal kind. Like buying her dinner... or a movie, or letting her live with you rent free.
