It’s eerie that after years of numerous contact with authorities and school records pointing at Cruz as a threat, netted nothing. This kid was manifesting problems while still in Middle School.
It is beyond pathetic that a school district, a family, the sheriff/police department, and the Florida FBI, could pave the streets for this kid’s destiny, and that 17 innocent souls had to pay the price for all that institutional stupidity and neglect.
When these duck heads finally are forced to meet up with this guy, now grown, they even totally blow that up, by doing no more than arriving and parking their patrol cars.
The school is a willing sitting duck themselves.
You couldn’t be more right. It wasn’t just law enforcement either, from what I’ve read it was politicians from the top down.
0bama and his administrations program to stop arrests in schools to keep them out of the penal system resulted in school districts, law enforcement and politicos turning a blind eye so they’d get more federal funding.
If that’s true it’s criminal in itself.
