Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Cruz has not formally entered a plea.

Nikolas Cruz would plead guilty to avoid death penalty ...
www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/parkland/florida-school...
Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old accused of killing 17 students and teachers in Parkland, Florida, would plead guilty if prosecutors agree not to seek the death penalty, his lawyers say Public Defender Howard Finkelstein said guilt is not an issue in the case of Cruz, who was taken into custody shortly after Wednesday’s shooting spree at …

I guess you’re not supporting this idea, but rather recounting the unconfirmed report. So I’m not challenging you, but rather trying to understand how this could affect anything. The clothes were lost after he was arrested. There would be eyewitness description of what the shooter was wearing, and police testimony as to what he was wearing when arrested. There must be security video at the hospital and likely from the fast food joint he ate at.

How does this invalidate the arrest?

No.....but obvious after a year away from and short time on it...this does not play into the equation of his behavior and planning of this event.

If they lost his clothes it would just pile on to the incompetence of the BSO.

It would not alter the overwhelming compelling evidence compiled against Cruz.

And there is no proof that the clothes or evidence has been lost.

The real issue is that the BSO & Broward school district are refusing to release the school surveillance video in spite of being sued by CNN, Miami Herald & Sun Sentinel. That’s a problem.

The State Atty. has NOT decided whether to seek the death penalty.

“Should Cruz seek to immediately settle in exchange for a sentence that is likely to equate to life in prison without parole, his attorneys believe that he’d also be sparing families of the slain shooting victims the emotional distress that would be dragged out by a trial.

“This is an opportunity to put the criminal case behind and help the victims’ families begin to try and pick up pieces of their lives for our community to heal and to figure out how we stop these things from ever happening again,” says Broward County Public Defender Howard Finkelstein, who has told the press that he is adamant Cruz will indeed enter a guilty plea.”

McVeigh wanted to be executed and waived his appeals.

What is the odd behavior? Everything reported sounds like the behavior you’d expect from someone who murdered so many innocents.

What would be ODD to me is if he slept like a baby.

Under rules of evidence the clothing worn during a shooting, etc. are retained in evidence bags so that testing may be done on gunshot residue, blood spatter, etc. In Nikolas’s case his clothes and shoes were disposed of before he was even booked into custody, not retained as evidence. My sources for this are a Broward County police person (not sheriff’s dept or Parkland) and then an FBI in Broward County. Apparently certain posters want to dismiss this data. Why?

Crazy or not Cruz deserves a public hanging with this Christmas being his last. Instead millions will be spent defending this POS and even if he gets the death sentence he will be eligible for AARP before justice would be done. Likely he will be found bat shit crazy and sent to an asylum until somebody decides he is cured and released.

No link. There is no data to dismiss. The first time this has been mentioned is in your post. Sounds like a ‘hot tip.’ If you believe your FBI & broward cop pal then call it in to the Miami Herald and let them investigate this.

BTW-
What is a Broward county ‘police person?’
There is no ‘Parkland police;’ they employ BSO.
