“Democratic Socialism”, I like that! An oxymoron if I have ever heard of one. Does that mean that when it all fails disastrously, we all get to vote out the idiots who fooled us into swallowing their lies? Based on the Stalinist track record of even the immediate past, that would probably be a “no”. Socialism always will decline and degenerate into chaos and violence. At least we have that to look forward to.
I think he defined it as the voters got to participate in what the government took from them. Or something stupid like that.
He made it sound so easy and simple. Just tax the top 1% and the masses would get it all transferred to them in the form of benefits and freebies.
Ya' gotta give it to 'em though. DemocRATic Socialism sounds much better than Marxist Socialism.
