During her second week waitressing at a barbecue restaurant in Sydney, a customer asked Yating Yang if she was Chinese. No, Im Taiwanese, she said.
Her boss, who was from mainland China, never gave her another shift.
Man-Tzu Tuan said her loyalty test came even sooner: on her first day at a hot pot restaurant in a comfortable Sydney suburb. Is Taiwan part of China? her manager asked in Mandarin over a walkie talkie. No, definitely not, she said.
A half-hour later, she was fired.
Chinas assertiveness has already set off alarms in Australia, with officials warning that Beijing has been meddling in Australian politics more than the public realizes. But the experiences of Ms. Yang and Ms. Tuan along with many others reveal how Chinese nationalism is also affecting private enterprise and, in some cases, leading to accusations of discrimination.

Nixon should have been hanged as a traitor.
Hell, that’s NOTHING.
Look how racist AMERICA is.
“Nixon should have been hanged as a traitor.”
Yep.
Not too late to do it for Kissinger.

These businesses need to be punished.
As a result China has become stronger and bolder as time has passed. And they've only just begun.
I'm glad that I'll be dead within the next 20 years because 50 years from now the world will be unrecognizable to those alive today...and that's not meant as a hopeful prediction.
The irony is that (mostly) everything is made in China but AMERICA built China by giving it everything it needed and what we did not give, they stole. America could have stopped Chicoms with a nice nuke during the Korean War or at least let General MacArthur do his job.So sorry if that is not PC but who has the military nukes and economic nukes now? They are patient, conniving, shrewd and have a PLAN.
“...50 years from now the world will be unrecognizable to those alive today...and that’s not meant as a hopeful prediction.”
It’s already unrecognizable to me!
