"Let’s not in our hate of Nancy reject the idea that more tax cuts should follow."

You hit the nail on the head.

Patriots need to get up to speed with the idea that if a given federal social spending program is not reasonably related to the US Mail Service (1.8.7) then you can bet that the program is unconstitutional and be right probably most of the time.

Patriots would get an even bigger tax break if they supported Pres. Trump in putting a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress cannot justify under it constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers which the Supreme Court indicated in the Gibbons v. Ogden excerpt above.

Note that if the citizens of a given state want state social spending services to replace unconstitutional federal spending programs that are discontinued then state taxes must necessarily go up.

Corrections, insights welcome.

I would point out that there were a lot of detractors of the tax cut who posted on the Freerepublic. When is our side going to stop fighting itself?

So why hasn’t Pelosi created Tax Rate Cut Legislation that gives Americans Ribeye Steaks?

I spoke to a nice lady who holds two full time jobs. One is Kroger and the other Home Depot. I asked about the bonus/pay. She said she will get three from HD this year alone.

HALF OF AMERICANS AGREE with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's comments that corporations are giving their workers "crumbs" as a result of the tax bill, according to a poll released Friday by a group aligned with President Donald Trump.

[Bona Fides: I am an Enrolled Agent and a Seasonal Tax Preparer at H&R Block.] We have a tool for every return that we prepare that shows what the STATIC 2017 data would do under next year's rules. At the moment, 95%+ of my clients would benefit (have larger refunds) but I caution them that their paycheck withholding has already been adjusted to give them more money in each pay period. You can get one (higher pay check) or the other (larger refund) but not both.

The people that are going to be hurt the most are in the high tax states and those who make large use of the Schedule A (Itemized), especially in the "Misc - 2% of AGI" section for Employee Business Expenses and expenses paid to produce income. That section vanishes for the coming years.

The so called crumbs is a lot more than any working taxpayers would ever get under a Marxist Democrat administration raising taxes on everyone so that they can have more money in the pot to buy more votes with. Buying votes with taxpayer money is the their game.
