More comes out about another FBI interview with Huma Abedin

FBI agents interviewed Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin in December 2016, more than a month after the official close of the Clinton email probe and much more recently than previously believed.

The Washington Post reports that agents were interested in how Abedin and Clinton emails wound up on a laptop used by Abedin’s husband, Anthony Weiner.

The FBI discovered Abedin and Clinton emails on the laptop while conducting an investigation into Weiner’s contact with an underaged girl in September 2016. The Clinton email probe, which had been closed in July 2016, was reopened on Oct. 28. It was closed again on Nov. 6, two days before the election, after FBI officials determined that none of the emails on the laptop would warrant criminal charges.

Agents considered their investigation complete but they wanted to find out whether Abedin should have disclosed the laptop emails sooner, according to The Post. She was considered a witness in the initial investigation, rather than a target. That didn’t change after the interview, which was conducted around Christmas 2016, as investigators found no reason to charge the longtime Clinton aide.

An interview with Abedin was hinted at in text messages exchanged between former FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

As The Daily Caller News Foundation first reported in February, Strzok told Page on Dec. 13, 2016, about a conversation he had with the Department of Justice about an interview with Abedin.

“Told them we had to interview, no immunity,” he wrote.

“They said they thought that would get counsel to the point of saying she’s either taking the 5th in the [grand jury] or you need to give her immunity. I said that’s fine, please have discussions to get the decision to that point and I would run it up the chain.”

The Post confirmed that an interview did occur but that no immunity was granted.

“There was never any suggestion by the government that Huma had done anything wrong,” Karen Dunn, Abedin’s lawyer, told The Post.

“To the contrary, she was told that her full and voluntary cooperation as a witness in their investigation was appreciated. Having done her part to assist the government, Huma is a private citizen now and should be left to live her life in peace.”

Abedin was first interviewed as part of the Clinton email investigation in April 2016. As one of the top FBI investigators on the probe, Strzok conducted the interview along with Justice Department lawyer David Laufman.

In the interview, Abedin may have given misleading statements about when she first learned about Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state. Emails showed that Abedin was aware of Clinton’s server use, yet she said in the FBI interview that she did not learn that Clinton used a private server until after they left the State Department.

Cheryl Mills, another Clinton aide, also denied knowing about the server while at the State Department. But Mills was also included on email exchanges where the server was discussed. Mills, unlike Abedin, received partial immunity from the Justice Department. She also served as Clinton’s attorney.

If Sessions won’t do his job, somebody has to.

And why is Mueller still breathing my air, let alone doing what it is doing.

Well? I question that statement.

Huma? A private citizen still receiving classified information.

I would also bet good money she's still on the govt payroll----its an old bureaucratic trick that long after you think these people are gone they're still cashing govt checks. Hillary probably put numerou of her factotums on the payroll.

There’s plenty more skullduggery Huma was up to. BACKSTORY In 2013, news broke that Hillary gave Abedin a special government employee status, allowing her to be simultaneously

<><>cashing US govt checks on the US govt payroll

<><> being paid by the Clinton Foundation, and,

<><> working for Teneo, founded by former Clinton White House adviser, Doug Band.

This became news fodder, b/c Abedin previously had not disclosed her unusual employment status. Abedin had publicly said initially that she “stepped back” from government work and became a “contractor” so she could be with her family and her newborn son, Zain.

Critics have questioned whether she had a conflict of interest while working as a US govt employee at State Dept and at Teneo-—said to be the pricey “toll booth” to get access to the Clintons.

A shady aspect of Huma Abdein’s unusual (and lucrative) State Department career......... she founded a private company called “Zain Endeavors” eleven days before she left Hillary’s employ. ( Zain Endeavors is named for her infant son).......

Abedin saying she was a “contractor” is also suspect.....b/c after Hillary left, the State Dept said $6 BILLION dollars went missing from the contractors’ fund. This has yet to be investigated.

MORE OF HUMA'S SKULLDUGGERY---FINANCING MUSLIM FAMILY MEMBERS WITH MILLIONS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS

THE SORDID DETAILS--This'll give you nightmares, people.....counting up the endless line of Huma's Muslim cousins w/ their greedy Muslim hands in the State Dept cookie jar.

CONVICTED OF FRAUD ---This smirking Muslim creep is Huma's Muslim first cousin AKA "a serial swindler." The Muslim cousin subsidized businesses w/ our tax dollars looted from Hillary's State Dept. He made six million tax dollars vanish.

ABEDIN EMAIL EXCERPT--“Thanks for getting in touch. Would love to arrange a meeting,” Muslim Huma Abedin replied in a June 23, 2009, email to her Muslim cousin Omar Amanat and Muslim Shamil Idriss, who heads New York-based Soliya Inc.

In May 2010, then-Secy Clinton helped Soliya get access to U.N. funding by making the U.S. a participant in a U.N. high-tech media initiative called the Alliance of Civilizations.

Then in October 2010, Hillary's State Department directly awarded Soliya $1.25 million for a media technology project. “Muslim Huma helped Muslim Omar make KIT appear more valuable because of its association with the Alliance of Civilizations, which was approved by Secy Hillary and funded in part by U.S. grants (tax dollars),” said an attorney familiar with the case.

“This helped Muslim Omar raise money for KIT, which he and his Muslim brother misappropriated for other purposes. Approximately $6 million tax dollars vanished.” Muslim Amanat took KIT Digital public in August 2009. At the time, Amanat, known as "a serial swindler,” was in personal bankruptcy and being sued by other investors. Despite his shady reputation, the Muslim still managed to gain special access to US government tax dollars thanks to his ties to his well-positioned Muslim cousin and his donations to the Clinton Foundation.

THE MONEY LAUNDRY Records show that Muslim Omar Amanat and several other Abedin Muslim family members and related Muslim charities have together donated as much as $1.2 million to the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative, as well as the Clinton Health Access Initiative. Omar Amanat, Abedin's Muslim cousin, who personally contributed as much as $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation, was officially appointed to the Council on Foreign Relations during the time that Hillary Clinton was serving as US secretary of state.

==================================

While the FBI has apparently closed its espionage investigation into Clinton’s unsecured private email server (the House has reopened it), its public corruption investigation into the Clinton Foundation remains open. It’s not clear if this still-active probe overlaps with the Amanat fraud investigation. However, investigators reportedly continue to look into alleged “pay-for-play” schemes involving the Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation and its wealthy donors, as well as entities that paid the Clintons millions of dollars in speaking fees.

Judicial Watch and other government watchdog groups have charged that the Clinton Foundation was a pay-for-play operation that rewarded its benefactors with State Department favors. And tax dollars....all you could possibly want.

The FBI discovered Abedin and Clinton emails on the laptop while conducting an investigation into Weiner’s contact with an underaged girl in September 2016.

My recollection was that the BYC police were the ones who discovered the emails - after the FBM had interviewed Huma.Am I mis-remembering?

I seem to recall the FBM being greatly annoyed at their ineptitude being on display by the city cops.

In America we have the constitutional guarantee of equal treatment under the law.
With the exception of course for the standard kid gloves treatment of the politically powerful and the well connected.

Former sailor Kristian Saucier is neither politically powerful or well connected.

Consequently he was dishonorably discharged from the Navy and sentenced to serve one year in prison and three years on probation
for taking photos of his work area aboard a nuclear submarine.

Photos that he never sent to anyone or shared with anyone in any way - buit it was still a violation of the law.

Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin both had classified documents on their computers and or telephones in violation of the law.

Hillary wasn’t supposed to have the information on her private computer and Huma wasn’t even cleared to access the information at all.

And yet they both shared the classified information with others who were not cleared to see it - another violation of the law.

Where is their equal treatment under the law?
Where is their punishment?

Jeff Sessions is too busy chasing down pot dealers to be bothered with Hillary’s arrogant defiance of the law and the security breaches of Hillary and Huma.

She was central to the largest, longest attack on American soil.
The imans are still laughing about the naivety of Americans thinking they had a black American president. They are however, so pissed that their agenda was trumped.

They came so close and are awaiting next time. For them, 1400 years is all part of the program.

Abedin Forwarded State Passwords to Yahoo Before It Was Hacked by Foreign Agents
By Luke Rosiak, The Daily Caller / January 02, 2018 /

Abedin, a top aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, routed sensitive information through Yahoo multiple times.

Huma Abedin forwarded sensitive State Department emails, including passwords to government systems, to her personal Yahoo email account before every single Yahoo account was hacked, a Daily Caller News Foundation analysis of emails released as part of a lawsuit brought by Judicial Watch shows. Abedin, the top aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, used her insecure personal email provider to conduct sensitive work.

This guarantees that an account with high-level correspondence in Clinton’s State Department was affected by one or more of a series of breaches—at least one of which was perpetrated by a “state-sponsored actor.”

The U.S. later charged Russian intelligence agent Igor Sushchin with hacking 500 million Yahoo email accounts. The initial hack occurred in 2014 and allowed his associates to access accounts into 2015 and 2016 by using forged cookies. Sushchin also worked for the Russian investment bank Renaissance Capital, which paid former President Bill Clinton $500,000 for a June 2010 speech in Moscow.

A separate hack in 2013 compromised 3 billion accounts across multiple Yahoo properties, and the culprit is still unclear. “All Yahoo user accounts were affected by the August 2013 theft,” the company said in a statement. Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, regularly forwarded work emails to her personal humamabedin@yahoo.com address.

“She would use these accounts if her [State] account was down or if she needed to print an email or document. Abedin further explained that it was difficult to print from the DoS system so she routinely forwarded emails to her non-DoS accounts so she could more easily print,” an FBI report says.

Abedin sent passwords for her government laptop to her Yahoo account on Aug. 24, 2009, an email released by the State Department in September shows. Long-time Clinton confidante Sid Blumenthal sent Clinton an email in July 2009 with the subject line: “Important. Not for circulation. You only. Sid.” The email began “CONFIDENTIAL … Re: Moscow Summit.” Abedin forwarded the email to her Yahoo address, potentially making it visible to hackers.

The email was deemed too sensitive by the government to release to the public and was redacted before being published pursuant to the Judicial Watch lawsuit. The released copy says: “Classified by DAS/ A/GIS, DoS on 10/30/2015 Class: Confidential.” The unredacted portion reads: “I have heard authoritatively from Bill Drozdiak, who is in Berlin. … We should expect that the Germans and Russians will now cut their own separate deals on energy, regional security, etc.”

The three email accounts Abedin used were abedinh@state.gov, huma@clintonemail.com, and humamabedin@yahoo.com. Though the emails released by the State Department partially redact personal email addresses, the Yahoo emails are displayed as humamabedin[redacted].

Clinton forwarded Abedin an email titled “Ambassadors” in March 2009 from Denis McDonough, who served as foreign policy adviser to former President Barack Obama’s campaign and later as White House chief of staff. The email was heavily redacted before being released to the public. Stuart Delery, chief of staff to the deputy attorney general, sent a draft memo titled “PA/PLO Memo” in May 2009, seemingly referring to two Palestinian groups.

The content was withheld from the public with large letters spelling “Page Denied.” Abedin forwarded it to her Yahoo account.

Abedin routed sensitive information through Yahoo multiple times, such as notes on a call with the U.N. secretary-general, according to messages released under the lawsuit. Contemporaneous news reports documented the security weaknesses of Yahoo while Abedin continued to use it. Credentials to 450,000 Yahoo accounts had been posted online, a July 2012 CNN article reported. Five days later, Abedin forwarded sensitive information to her personal Yahoo email.

Abedin received an email “with the subject ‘Re: your yahoo acct,’” an FBI report says. “Abedin did not recall the email and provided that despite the content of the email she was not sure that her email account had ever been compromised” on Aug. 16, 2010.

The FBI also asked her about sending other sensitive information to Yahoo. The FBI report said: Abedin was shown an email dated October 4, 2009 with the subject ‘Fwd: US interest in Pak Paper 10-04’ which Abedin received from [redacted] and then forwarded to her Yahoo email account. …

At the time of the email, [redacted] worked for Richard Holbrooke who was the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP). Abedin was unaware of the classification of the document and stated that she did not make judgments on the classification of materials that she received.

The U.S. charged Sushchin with hacking half a billion Yahoo accounts last March, in one of the largest cyberbreaches in history, The Associated Press reported. Sushchin was an intelligence agent with Russia’s Federal Security Service—the successor to the KGB—and was also working as security director for Renaissance Capital, Russian media said.

“It is unknown to the grand jury whether [Renaissance] knew of his FSB affiliation,” the indictment of Sushchin says. Renaissance Capital paid Bill Clinton $500,000 for a speech in 2010 that was attended by Russian officials and corporate leaders. The speech prompted a thank-you note from Russian President Vladimir Putin. Renaissance Capital is owned by Russian oligarch Mikhail Prokhorov, who also owned the Brooklyn Nets basketball team. He unsuccessfully ran for Russian president against Putin in 2012.

Sushchin’s indictment says “the conspirators sought access to the Yahoo Inc. email accounts of Russian journalists; Russian and U.S. government officials,” and others. Information about the accounts such as usernames and password challenge questions and answers were stolen for 500 million accounts, the indictment says. It does not mention Abedin’s account. A hacker called “Peace” claimed to be selling data from 200 million Yahoo users.

The user data also included people’s alternate email addresses, often work accounts tying a Yahoo user to an organization of interest. The hackers were able to generate “nonces” that allowed them to read emails “via external cookie minting” for some accounts. The New York Times reported that in the 2013 hack, which affected all Yahoo accounts:

Digital thieves made off with names, birth dates, phone numbers and passwords of users that were encrypted with security that was easy to crack. The intruders also obtained the security questions and backup email addressed used to reset lost passwords—valuable information for someone trying to break into other accounts owned by the same user, and particularly useful to a hacker seeking to break into government computers around the world.

Yahoo published a notification Sept. 22, 2016, saying: “Yahoo has confirmed that a copy of certain user account information was stolen from the company’s network in late 2014 by what it believes is a state-sponsored actor.” Days later, Hillary Clinton, the Democrats’ nominee for president, downplayed the risks of her using a private email server to conduct official business, saying it was simply a matter of convenience.

“After a year-long investigation, there is no evidence that anyone hacked the server I was using and there is no evidence that anyone can point to at all, anyone who says otherwise has no basis, that any classified materials ended up in the wrong hands. I take classified materials very seriously and always have,” Clinton said Oct. 9, 2016, during her second presidential debate with Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Abedin’s use of Yahoo email is consistent with the determination by the FBI that Clinton associates’ emails were, in fact, compromised. “We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private email accounts of individuals with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her private account,” then-FBI Director James Comey said in 2016.
