This seems to happen with regularity - global warming ship of fools scientists getting themselves in trouble with ice that they claim is going away or isn’t there. Usually they have to be rescued from the ice trap.

Arctic AND Antarctic sea ice thickness is the lowest in recorded history but we had to turn around because the ice was too thick.

Of course, it is all the fault of 'Manmade Global Warming'©! The Earf has warmed so much that the sea ice is getting thicker and spreading farther. It is the fault of all the inhabitants of the Antarctic continent driving their polluting SUVs, but MOSTLY THE FAULT OF DRUMPF AND ALL THE GREEDY, HATEFUL CHRISTIANS AND CONSERVATIVES THAT SUPPORTED HIM!
