We haven’t heard much of anything about the Oroville dam lately, have we?

Don’t forget that the heavy rains will cause all sorts of fuel to grow and next October — FIRES! Yet another disaster. Then the fires will leave the hills exposed and the next rainy season will cause, you guessed it! MUDSLIDES!! Yet another disaster.

How did we get along without CNN and TWC panting endlessly about our disasters? It’s just normal business here in CA, like hurricanes and nor’easters elsewhere. Yawn.

A disaster? When it melts it goes into the aquifers, water tables, lakes etc. Loosing a few homes in a mud slide is nothing compared to what a prolonged drought can do.
