What people not in education do not grasp is that this awful behavior begins in Kindergarten. In certain districts it is almost impossible to teach between the out of control kids & the kids who come in with no skills whatsoever. Like they were found in the forest & brought to school.
No conversation or books at home. Some barely know their name! Then I go to the grocery in the town where we live and the mom is involving the baby/young child in her purchases,....talking in an animated voice.
Yesterday I sat in on a meeting w/ a parent whose child was being put into special ed. ( he frankly should be in youth court, but hey) She had her newborn & said grandma was taking care of her two other kids(she didn’t know that her son didn’t come to school that day) while she cared for her 3 month old. She THEN said she is so tired that she sleeps all day long!!!!! I guess the TV is watching her baby. It was apparent she had an extremely low IQ.
After she left the teacher told me that the baby daddy had another girlfriend, so she chased after her in her car one day & rammed her off the road. Someone in the car died & she was never charged. Yep, that’s a day at school.
and all the adult citizens permit this?
They say they have no power?
I would imagine they could get power pretty darned quick if they were organized and informed.
People are fed up.
