A little known fact is that the whites were actually the first to settle the central part of South Africa. The Bantus did not inhabit that area. As the whites moved north, the Bantus moved south. The conflict came to a head at the Battle of Blood River. The Afrikaners won. Now South African farms can become as unproductive as Rhodesia’s did.
At least you sort of know some facts; unlike far too many here.
“A little known fact is that the whites were actually the first to settle the central part of South Africa”
This is actually not true, anymore than Australia being “empty” or N. America also claimed to have been. It is an unfortunate bungled understanding by the Brits and others about the native’s settlement and living patterns.
Although not exactly super-densely populated, it was by no means some land devoid of people.
I would salt most of my fields and spread toxic heavy metal compounds over the rest.
That’s exactly the same story I’ve read over & over.
Black Africans were never in that area until Whitey developed it. Then they came is as illegal alien invaders.
