Warm isn’t too bad a thing - LOL - but it sure would be nice if you could get a little soggy for a change.

The water has pretty much run off the farm now since our land slopes. But there are a LOT of ponds and small lakes around the area that didn’t exist a couple of days ago. Not really where I can get to them for a cool moon pic - - I thought about that already. LOL! I drove past them while I was out and about this afternoon.
The lake was a few feet below summer pool before this rain hit and now it’s well above summer pool. Good thing there isn’t more rain due until Monday.

I’m not up on Irish bands and music at all so really couldn’t contribute to the thread.
Spent the night lining up tunes for tomorrow and Sat. nights instead.
When I wasn’t outside in hopes of getting better full moon pix. :-)

LOL! It was a close call and we almost needed it. There’s still a little bit of water in our ditches and around the farm but most is gone. Other spots around here that I saw today aren’t so lucky. One large field has 4 small lakes that I could see from the highway and he’ll lose a few acres of winter wheat. That water won’t run off so the wheat will drown before it’s gone.

A calmer day at work today? Streets any better to drive on to and from work?

The Fields of Athenry brings a tear to my eye. What a terrible time in history...to be transported to the other side of the earth for very minor crimes, many of which were to keep from starving. Perpetrators of major crimes were simply hung. Thanks for posting the YouTube of the music.
