I used to have Lebanese Christian neighbors who spoke Arabic.
It is apparently a language that cannot be spoken, only shouted.
I had the same experience, but with muslims.

Funny thing about my arab christian neighbors is the moment they moved in they put a statue of the virgin Mary on their front lawn with a light at night to let everybody know.
That’s not exactly true... but the sound of arabic spoken softly is like sybalint, slithering, slytherin, snake hissing.
