Democrat Phil Spagnuolo won a special election in New Hampshire's Belknap County District 3 on Tuesday night 968-841 (54%-46%). It is the 38th state legislative flip from Democrat to Republican since President Trump's inauguration. The contest for this state House race pitted Spagnuolo, a substance abuse recovery coach, against Republican Les Cartier, a former employee at the state fire marshal's office. The seat was left open after the death of Republican State Rep. Donald Flanders last September. Donald Trump won the district by a sizable 54-41 margin in 2016, four years after Barack Obama carried it by just one point, 50-49.

R won in KY 89.

D won in CT120 by 51 votes. Total of 3000 votes (in 2016, 12,000)

These races are actually very, very good news. There is massive election fatigue. Despite all the hate, all the mobilizing and all the money, Ds are winning nothingburger seats by the slimmest of margins with MINISCULE turnout.

The GA R victory 2 weeks ago was just 9% of total registered voters.

What you are seeing is that people are just sick of elections and voting, especially Republicans. They’ll come out in the midterms, but in the meantime, they have lives to live.

Do we have any way to coordinate grassroots excitement for PA-18? Can we mobilize the troops for a GOTV for Saccone?

“NH is no longer a GOP state.”

I’m afraid we’ve hit the critical-mass of Massholes.

Did they check the voting machines thoroughly? Before and after the vote?

I wouldn't worry about these Elections that barely anyone knows about!

When the Midterm Elections come, everyone will know that day & come out to vote!

Captain, don't give up the ship so easily! We have not yet begun to fight.

There is plenty of room for conservative progress in New Hampshire.

Get active, help find conservative candidates and get your fellow conservatives out to vote. The Democratic liberals are working constantly for their agenda, and have plenty of out of state money. We need to get to work against them.

The Senate and Congress Republicans failed to keep their promises. They intentionally thwarted President Trump out of vanity. Now they are suffering the consequences of their actions. I always suspected they were in Democrats party especially modern day Benedict Arnold ( Mccain ).

PS
That was a painful loss today in CT - 120

It is on the CT GOP. An all talk, no action group

They still seem to be underfunded

Ronna McDaniel stinks. This is on her watch. If she loses that seat in PA, its time to have another election for chair.

I heard at least the GOP was doing canvassing in the Saccone district. If he does not win, time to fire Ronna McRomney.
