In 2014 the blonde abortion rights babe running for gov. against Abott was going to turn Texas blue, too.

How’d that work out?

Every two to four years a Democrat media moron comes out with a story about Texas turning blue in the upcoming election. Then it turns out 60-40 or nearly so for the Republican.

The NY Times recently did a long piece on the very Kennedy-esque Beto O Rourke stumping his way through very rural GOP dominated Texas counties beating the bushes for votes.

Cruz will crush and bury him. Beto is far left.

Next.

I see nothing about party affiliation in the official voter registration application.

My understanding is that you declare your party affiliation in an election at the time you request a Republican primary ballot or Democrat primary ballot.

A couple of decades ago, when the Houston Post was still around, editor Lynn Ashby said he used to vote in the Democrat or Republican primary in alternating years so he would receive candidate literature from both parties.

That blonde abortion activist who ran for governor began her political career as a “Republican” in the Dallas area.

People need to vote in the primaries. It is important.

And if you don’t vote in the uncontested races, write-in candidates can take that seat. Doesn’t take that big of a concerted effort.

But go on and stay home during the primaries while the party is continually diluted.

Saw Beto on Tucker. He’s a radical lefty, but I have seen a few Beto signs in the neighborhood.
