Not very resounding. The Inspector General of any bureaucracy should never be confused with a Special Prosecutor. The FBI is an integral part of the Justice Department. This investigation if it is to be done well must be conducted by an outside prosecutor. Otherwise it is extremely doubtful that the necessary grinding investigation of senior FBI people will ever occur.
