My local police have gone to a digital radio system...I can’t remember the reason why, but it required some expensive upgrades to some of their repeating towers...does anyone know if there is a downside to digital radios, especially in heavy traffic?
They had 5 different police departments show up at the airport and they are on different frequencies.
