DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol were called to the interchange of I-70 and I-75 Friday after several car windows were shot out.
Two cars on Interstate 70 and two on Interstate 75 suffered damage Friday, according to police.
Troopers tell 2 NEWS this appears to be similar to the incident Thursday morning where at least two vehicles, included a Dayton Police Department patrol car were damaged.
A number of cars along I-70 between I-75 and Airport Access Road suffered damage.
“It was in my window, and I felt something come past my face,” said a driver in a call to 911 Friday, saying something shot threw her car window.
According to police, that has happened to at least six vehicles in the Miami Valley since Thursday.
“We just got done with lunch, and I got a phone call from the van in front of me, saying the windows just got blown out,” said Matt Brown.
Brown was driving with his construction team Friday when one of their vans had a window shattered.
“Kind of hard to believe, and then when we came up on them, they were all out of the vehicle, and the windows were blown out,” he said.
Police said they believe the incidents are all connected.
“We’re trying to determine what caused those windows to break,” said Lt. Mark Nichols of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. “So we’re going to coordinate our investigation with those other agencies and see what we got.”
There’s no word yet on any suspects. No injuries have been reported, Lt. Nichols said.
My first guess will be “a liberal SJW”...
Heh, they have to gin up gun violence to reinforce gun violence and the banning of guns.

Years ago I was a delivery driver for Pepsi in San Diego. I was just finishing up a delivery to a restaurant in Mission Valley when the passenger side window shattered, raining down glass all over the cab.
Called it in and drove straight back to the plant. Never heard the shot but it was damn scary.
A lady my daughter once worked with told me she was going to write a book about a thrill shooter who was shooting out car windows to watch them explode.
I’ve been in different facets of the glass business all my life. (automotive, marine, residential and commercial)
I told her that she might want to arrange a visit to a junkyard with the firearm her character would use. I thought she might discover that laminated safety glass just ain’t that exciting to shoot.
It kind of implodes with a pop, then a million small pieces safely fall to the ground as it caves in.

BTW, when this happened in my area, about 15 miles up the highway, the shooter was ...... wait for it ..... a BLM-type.
He would drive alongside the victim’s vehicle and shoot.

This used to happen on U.S.1 between Marathon key and Key West Halloween evening weekend late night.
Single lane each direction 45+mph. It caused wrecks.
Should be attempted murder charges for this type activity
