The Florida Gun Show witnessed record attendance Saturday at the Florida State Fairgrounds. The record attendance comes as Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Bill Nelson (D-FL) push more gun control for gun shows. Other Democrats, like Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL), are pushing an assault weapons ban, a bump stock ban, and universal background checks, among other controls.
The public response to the gun control push was a record turnout at the Florida Gun Show.
WTSP reports almost 7,000 people attended the show Saturday, and they expected even more people to attend on Sunday.
Gun show manager George Fernandez said he has never seen crowds so big. And he quickly admitted, Some of the people attending are afraid that future legislation will impact their gun ownership rights.

If you’ve never been to a gun show, check one out. It’s heartwarming to see Americans mingling together - Young, old, men, women, black, white, Hispanic and Asian, all stocking up on guns and ammo. Everyone is respectful and you’ll never be in a safer environment.
Commie POS RATs are the best gun salesmen on the face of the planet.
It’s the only useful thing they’re good for....LOL

They also have tazers, survival gear, prepping supplies, and novelies.
Like said on the other thread:
If the RKBA faces a public backlash, why do gun shows have record turnout?
Liberals don’t understand what makes Americans tick.
Perhaps someone should post on his twitter account a big “Thank You!!” for making the event so successful...
two quick points here. 1. if we deny the right to purchase a gun to one under 21 be sure and remove their right to vote. 2. Be sure that all people accused of “ mental illness” are given due process, notice and hearing with a jury trial before their rights are taken away!! It is right there in the constitution.
Crime control, not gun control
I don’t ever remember a felony shooting at a gun show.
5.56mm
Perhaps someone needs to send a big “Thanks for the free advertising” on Hoggs twitter account...
Yep, someone at Remington Outdoors should do that. Given their dire financial straits, it couldn’t hurt.
The far left and their sycophants in the media want to ban guns, Americans at large? Not so much.

Some of the best people I’ve ever met were at the shooting range. Salt of the Earth.
Broward Sheriff Scott Israel’s “amazing leadership” has probably done more to increase attendance at the FL gun show.
IF public order breaks down in this country al those Kumbaya candle lighters will wish they were armed.
And great home-made jerky!
I thought I heard 500,000 this morning...I might be wrong, but it was great. What a show...
Just once, somebody in AZ decided to hold a “no dealers” gun show. Just private sales between people. It was winter and going to be held in northern AZ. Fortunately two things that would have made it a mess canceled each other out.
The first was that their venue was *way too small*. It was like the size of a high school gymnasium. A problem because the number of people planning to attend were way more than it could have handled. Just a fraction of the parking needed would have left cars backed up on the nearest major highway for miles.
The day was saved by a snowstorm, making the route there impassable.
However, the lesson learned was that a “no dealers” gun show, if held in the future, should be in a huge venue, and maybe held in tandem with a political rally by pro-gun liberty candidates.
Liberals cause shortages and high prices wherever they go. Palmetto State Armory is sold out of AR-15s and AR-10s.
Good news story. I trust many of these folks are first time buyers and recognize that a right not exercised is a right lost.
