The young people of Black Lives Matter are hurt. And they have every right to be.
When they were protesting in the streets of cities across America, much of the country didn’t bother to listen to their message. They were not embraced by the mainstream for their bravery, their determination or resolve to bring attention to reckless police killings that disproportionately impact young African-Americans.

This part of the country isn’t listening to any teen...in Florida or elsewhere.
I could see Hogg on top of an overturned, burning police car with a looted TV in his arms.
Or is it that they don't view the death of black kids as a good crisis?
Maybe someone can explain this to me.
As long as blacks vote monolithically, their opinions won’t matter either.
This makes me think, in an offhanded way, about the chapter in Bernard Goldberg’s book “Bias” about how the news media dealt with homelessness.
He writes “The networks were doing lots of homeless stories back then and the homeless we put on TV almost always looked just like you and your next-door neighbors.Except the homeless I saw on the streets of New York didn’t look anything like that. Most of them were either alcoholics, or drug addicts, or were talking to space ships in the sky.
But reporters felt they needed to portray the homeless as people just like you and me. In fact, Tom Brokaw actually said that the homeless are “people you know.””
So I get the impression that the networks are happy to put on a white, middle class face to the criminal and tragic misuse of firearms which happens far more in the black underclass areas of large American cities (which tend to have strict gun control laws). And they can still ignore issues such as the neglect of the mentally ill, drug abuse, illiteracy, corrupt local political systems, generations of poverty and welfare mothers that are far more involved in the real causes of criminal activity and mass shootings as opposed to firearms and the local laws pertaining to them.
The BLM effort has been culturally appropriated by liberal White women and tenured professors.
Those black signs posted in affluent neighborhood yards, used as inoculation against the inner city scourge, have watered down their rioting and social justice marches.
Someone needs to set up a rumble with BLM vs the Hogg Group. Never thought I’d say it, but if that were to happen I might be rooting for BLM.
BLM is a black plague destroying America.
BLM is in effect one of the black political organizations directly responsible for the massacre in Florida. There is nothing good about BLM

There are metal detectors in most majority black schools in this country.
I guess even the Left realizes that it’s awkward to claim that “Cops Are Evil Racists” and “Police Are the Only Defense You Need” at the same time.

The Florida teens are misguided doing what their liberal parents and liberal politicians are telling them to do. They need to start thinking for themselves. I blame the adults mostly.
BLM is worse. These idiots block roads, disrupt people minding their own business and are defending gangbangers and other bad people. The article is pure insanity.
Because the black kids are being shot by other blacks.
It’s only a ‘good crisis’ when the wee lil black tot is shot by a white cop.
