Is he a ‘home grown’ cop that rose through the ranks or sell himself to the highest bidder while wending his way across the country?
I see no sense when you hire a Police Chief or Sheriff that the city needs to give a driver to because he doesn’t know his way around town.
If this guy or ANY of them would ‘fall on their sword’ because their ‘charges’ failed, it would be refreshing to see them hold themselves accountable.
ESPECIALLY if he or the City etal ordered a ‘stand down’ ala Baltimore MD
They fire Baseball/Football/Basketball/Hockey field leaders all the time because their ‘charges’ either don’t perform up to standard of the whole team ‘dives’.
Omg! You are so right! Our city had that happen with a fire chief. The guy was basically run out of the dc area and somehow the union landed him in our corner of the world. He was/is a douchebag of epic proportions. Morale dropped like a rock at the department, infighting, favoritism was rampant. We finally got rid of him but the damage was done. Took a long by time to recover. Don’t know where that ahole moved on to, but I’m sure he’s causing issues wherever he breathes.
