Heck with the facts, just fudge the statistics and avoid the rules. Kind of like Obama’s economics statistics.
Right on the mark. Follow Obungo's lead. If the stats aren't looking good just stop arresting people and you suddenly have a 50-60% "decline" in criminal arrests.
And when it backfires, as they had to know it would, have the MSM scream for banning/confiscating guns. That won't solve the problem either but the "sheep" will be disarmed and you won't have to listen to them anymore.
