Russia is fighting the same kind of folks who terrorized the USA on 9/11 is what Mr. Hitchens is pointing out.
1) Soros and 2) Putin - they hate each other but they’re the same.
Same goes for 1) ISIS and 2) much of their opposition plus Assad/Iran. Hate each other but in long run: they’re the same. They hate USA. They hate Israel - etc...
Trump is doing right with the balancing act we have going there.
I am not asking for men to be sent there.
The isolationists here dont even want AID given to the Kurds, who single handedly kept the fight with ISIS alive until Trump became president.
I know a groups of Kurds is hardcore communist, and I am not thrilled with that.
Right now i’m a LOT more happy to see jihadis die than communists.
Plus this would be the SECOND time we ####ed the Kurds.
