I don’t even need to read anything at all about the proposed “bill”. If they are for it, I am dead set 100% against it.
There is nothing, zero, nada, that either of those people have ever proposed, done, voted for, or even talked about that has been good for this country.
Every single thing has been ideologically motivated Leftist pap, and I will bet money without even reading the proposal that this is no different.
And for what it is worth, I am all for reducing money in the political process in a reasonable fashion, and without reading the proposal, I can tell you this won’t be that.

As McCain (I think) said, paraphrased: “politicians need laws to keep us from doing unethical things. it’s too easy to cheat if a law doesn’t stop us so we all do it.”
If a politicians says they will “forgo accepting donations from corporate PACs” it means they found a loophole or way to get the money without admitting where they got the money. As the article says, these two only mean “for-profit corporate PACs”. They don’t mean the non-profit corporations created by unions or liberals who made tons from for-profit corporations and funded by union donations and for-profit corporations.
The Democrat Party is itself a prime “corrosive effect”.
