Many years ago, Playboy ran an article along those lines. The guy wrote (IIRC) "When I picked up the gun, I could feel the power flowing up through my arms. I felt like a GOD!"
I wrote them that normal gun users pick up a gun, check to see if it is loaded, and make comments on the workmanship, heft and feel of the gun. I also wrote that if the writer truly had those feelings, it would benefit everyone if HE was kept away from them.
Never heard back.
Oh yeah, a few pages later there was a glowing article, backed up with photos of smiling 30-somethings enjoying skeet shooting at a Playboy club. I guess it was OK to feel like GODs! there.
Bet he said the same when he sent out the nasty pic of himself on the internet.

Yes, a Bazooka that shoots a projectile that typically weighs 55 grains or barely more than a 10th of an ounce. It is a miracle of physics and ballistics that AR-15 ammo is effective against killer rabbits let alone other humans. Regardless of the debate on its effectiveness AR-15 type rifles were adopted by the military primarily for portability not lethality. The Garand used in WWII weighed 50% more than the M16. But more importantly 5.56x45mm NATA cartridges weigh less than half as much as the 7.62×51mm NATO used in the M14 so soldiers could carry twice as many cartridges into battle.
