Yes, and some police lobbies have pushed for gun control for a long time.

There are two very important related considerations that I know of. One is for all of those who haven't joined an organization working in favor of our Second Amendment right to do so (the NRA, other organizations, state organizations). The fees are usually very small, and they'll send you some cool stuff.

The other is to make sure that we all vote and help with campaigning for our members of Congress in the 2018 congressional elections. Democrats are pouring an unprecedented effort into unseating enough Republicans to get our President out of office and to have firearms taken away from law abiding Americans.

This is even more important than usual for those of you who are young adults. The radical left is focusing mostly against your rights this time.

They're using an incremental approach to disarm one small subgroup of society at a time to divide us, so tell your members of Congress to vote "no" on any and all gun control bills and other measures.

As I keep telling my libtards friends (don't ask me why I keep tolerating their BS), the supreme Court has ruled that the cops have NO obligations to be at your front door within 5 minutes of your 911 phone call!

The simple fact of the matter is that they can choose to arrive long after the bullets stop flying and the criminal has flew the coop. And the cops will dramatically arrive to your place with sirens blaring, run out with guns drawn as the victims lies dead & bloody on the floor. They then just collect evidence, talk to the survivors (if there are any left), watch the ambulance pick up the bodies and haul them away.

But if the victims were armed then most likely the bodies being carted off would be the criminal and not the victms.

Just remember that dailing 911 = Calling Dial A Prayer.

At columbine they had hundreds of cops on scene and took an hour to go in. When they did, a fireman drove his truck, the one with huge front windows, so the cops could cower behind him for cover.

I watched that fiasco and was disgusted with the police behavior. All those swatters with their body armor and ARs cowered outside while two kids went on a killing rampage. And they want to play soldier. Soldiers would have went in period.

Never take a knife to a gun fight. Pistols against rifles isn’t wise either. The FBI rearmed after that shootout in FL back in the 80s... but at least they engaged, perhaps unknowingly.

Israeli school teachers don’t just pack heat, they sling an assault rifle over their shoulders.

The failure is systemic. A rental cop isn’t enough, and neither is inadequately armed police presence. This cop was just window dressing.
