“Retired”? No way, fire him! They need to do something to ensure he gets zero benefits. What an abject way to end his career. What is his name and pic? Let him go pump gas or work as night janitor or something. Disgrace.

You got to love unions. This guy did his job so bad 17 people died he was supposed to protect. But he gets to retire. And I bet he gets the full load of benefits that someone who did not retire in disgrace had coming to them for the same hitch.
This is why I do not "back" LEOs unconditionally. Too many scumbags wearing a badge.
