Trump considers pulling ICE out of California to let the state learn
The San Diego Tribune ^ | 22 Feb 2018 | Abby Hamblin

President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he’s considering pulling Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers out of California.

Why? Because he feels the state is giving his administration “no help” in targeting the violent MS-13 gang, especially in Los Angeles.

“We’re getting no help from the state of California,” Trump said from the White House. “Frankly, if I wanted to pull our people from California you would have a crime nest like you’ve never seen in California. All I’d have to do is say ‘ICE and border patrol, let California learn.’”

Trump made those remarks during a meeting at the White House where he also spent a few minutes scolding California.

“You would see crime like nobody’s ever seen crime in this country,” he said of California without federal immigration agents. “And yet we get no help from the state of California.”

He also took a shot at leadership in the state.

“They are doing a lousy management job,” Trump said. “They have the highest taxes in the nation and they don’t know what’s happening out there. Frankly, it’s a disgrace, the sanctuary city situation, the protection of these horrible criminals in California and other places. If we ever pulled our ICE out and we ever said, ‘hey, let California learn and let them figure it out for themselves,’ in two months, they’d be begging for us to come back. They would be begging.”

Would the president really do such a thing?

“You know what, I’m thinking about it,” Trump said.

The teacher went on to predict that in 20 years, CA's most common surname would be "Garcia." THAT has always stuck with me.

That’s the solution right there.

Not one red cent from the Feds for any program; including welfare, food stamps, law enforcement, disaster aid, etc.
If President Trump squeezes those CRIMINAL BASTARDS in Sacramento and cuts off their dollars, this whole DEMOCRAT CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE in California will soon come to a screaming end.

YEP; 5th generation native Californian here; the Eastern COMMUNISTS (I don’t call them liberals because they are COMMUNISTS) started coming here during and after WW-2.
Unfortunately they brought their socialist/communist ideas with them and raised all their college bound kids that way.
That gave us places like Berkeley in the early 60’s, and what we have to suffer with today came directly from those people.
I would be willing to bet that there isn’t a single person in the state house with a greaser last name that if you traced their ancestry back a generation and a half, you would find that their parents or grandparents are ILLEGAL ALIENS.
Same goes for some of the Chinese that are now in public office.

No way! Send in 10,000 and have them arrest and deport 10,000 per day.

Exactly...this is not a good idea by Trump. He needs to put the screws to the leadership of California and go after them with a vengeance. Abandoning the minority of decent,law-abiding citizens of California to their leftist-leaders is not the solution.

Better yet pull federal money out of Kalifornia to let the state learn.

Do it, Mr President. And also, put out some PSAs that any illegals, elsewhere in America should go to California right now, because they won’t have to worry about being deported if they move there. Tell them they have 6 months to move. If they’re not gone by then, then a nationwide sweep will start and deportations will commence.

We had to move Sessions to Justice, and they sent Judge Moore back to Gadsden. I still think Sessions voted for Doug Jones.

Very interesting map: shows that TX will soon be Democrat, particularly if lazy and uninformed Republicans continue to sit out elections.

This would be an admission of defeat on Trump’s part: very poorly thought idea.

Interesting map. I see the states next to the border states are being taken over.

WHEN we escaped Mexifornia, I refused to consider any state touching a border state. That was a good move.

Kinda hard for California to clean up its own act when the Democrats have imported more voters from Mexico than there are Americans to vote.

HA!
You’re right. Communists. I stand corrected.
Like you, I can remember when San Francisco was still rather decent and people “dressed up” to shop in the stores downtown. Women wore hats and gloves. Delightful.

Why not? If all the illegals find welcome in California and leave Nevada and other other states, put checkpoints at the border to pick them up. Better if ICE was swarm California and round them up by the tens of thousands, but I don’t suspect that will happen because they seem so proud of catch a hundred or two. Besides, California already has checkpoints to stop citrus and infestations on boats from coming in, why not have a checkpoint to stop the infestation of illegal aliens from leave?
